in Florida
The same two formats — close-up mentalism among the guests, and a seated piece for the whole room — but every Florida market books them for a different evening. What follows is how each one actually uses a mentalist, and what is on the record there.
Miami & Miami Beach
Miami corporate evenings are built around a venue and a view, with a tight AV schedule and delegates who flew in that morning. Mentalism earns its place in the two hours the programme does not cover: the arrivals hour, performed guest to guest, and the twenty-minute seated piece after dinner that gives a room of strangers one shared story.
Three seasons as resident magician at Kiki on the River mean the hotel and restaurant rooms of Miami Beach and Brickell are familiar ground — how a terrace carries sound, when a waterfront dinner is ready to sit still.

Palm Beach & West Palm Beach
Palm Beach books differently from Miami: club dinners, estate evenings and the charity season from January to April, where the room is seated, older, and has seen every band on the island. A mentalism piece between the speeches and the auction works because it asks for attention rather than volume, and it ends before the paddle raise.
Private dinners of twenty to forty guests — the island's most common format — suit close-up mentalism at the table, where the host's guests become the material.

Fort Lauderdale & Hollywood
Fort Lauderdale's evenings happen on the water and in the restaurants along it: yacht receptions, marina openings, VIP dinners where the room is loud and standing. Close-up mentalism is the format that survives a boat — no stage, no power, nothing to move when the deck does.
Hollywood adds the conference side: the Seminole Hard Rock ballrooms, where a seated set piece after the formal programme is the one moment the whole delegation experiences together.

Naples & Southwest Florida
Naples is the quietest market on this page and the most private: Port Royal and Old Naples dinners, Fifth Avenue receptions, groups of twenty to sixty who know each other. Mentalism here is close-up and personal — a guest's own thought, named at the table — rather than a stage piece.
For a welcome dinner or a milestone birthday it replaces the speech nobody wanted to give.

Orlando
Orlando is conferences and incentive programmes: convention hotels, five hundred delegates, a gala on the last night with a full AV crew already in the room. The format that fits is the twenty-to-thirty-minute mentalism piece with close-up work projected to screen, placed after the awards and before the room breaks up — the slot no speaker wants and every agenda has.
For smaller incentive dinners the guest-to-guest format works through the reception without touching the running order.
Sarasota & Tampa Bay
Sarasota's season is cultural and philanthropic — galas, patron dinners, Longboat Key and Siesta Key private evenings — and Tampa adds the corporate calendar across the bay. Both are seated-dinner markets, which is where a mentalism set piece does its best work: one shared moment for a room that has already heard the speeches.
Matteo has no Sarasota or Tampa engagement to name here yet; the formats and the fees are the same as everywhere else in Florida, and the date question takes one message.
